This long anorak is our faithful replication of one of the most popular garments on college campuses in the 60's. From hippies to preppies this style was the anorak of choice for generations. We just brought it into the 21st century by crafting this garment in a miracle easy care fabric that is both waterproof and truly stain resistant.

Durable heavy gage zippers and high quality ring snaps make up the hardware components for this iconic style, which features a front zip closing with a ring snap secured covering placket that keeps the moisture out. This anorak has fully lined sleeves with adjustable cuff straps and a snap on/snap off removable oversized hood with "bill detail". It has adjustable waist and hem details (draw cords), roomie pockets and lot's of attitude - after all, it's got some history.

Very Long

I like the outer fabric but not the lining—a slick lining fabric would have made it easier to put on over long sleeves. Also, the coat is very long (I’m only 5’4”) and that drawstring in the bottom hem had to go. Overall, I love the hood, the zipper and snap closure, the roominess, and style!

The only thing I don’t like about the Long Anorak is the tie in the back - way too long. Looks like you have a tail!
