Have the vest I bought a few years ago. Loved it but the zipper broke. Anorak does not offer a repair service. They offered me a partial credit towards a new vest. When I purchased it, the gray was way darker, not too my liking. Learned there was a lighter gray but it was out of stock. Gave me a credit on the darker gray, but minus charges. I thought that outrageous, feeling they should have just credited me and applied that in full to the vest I wanted
The vest is warm and cozy with a side effect of being gorgeous!
Never taking it off
I received this vest about 10 days ago. I have worn it EVERYDAY since. It’s so comfortable yet featger light you forget your wearing it. Great windbreaker, great for evening walks on the trail. Looks great over leggings and a turtleneck after a day on the ski slopes. I can easily wear it under a coat and it packs into nothing…or the cute bag that came with it. Nice length. Love the double zipper in front and ample pockets. Slight A line design is flattering. 5’6” 145. The medium would be fine unless you have a full chest then go for large.
Love the way it looks but...
It is a bit small in the chest/underarm area (when I reach forward it cuts into me blunder and in front of each arm; tried going a size up and it looked like a bell on me, huge thru body/hips) and it’s not as warm as other vests I’ve had, not as puffy and dow/feather-filled. The zipper is also a bit tricky to get started; my mom complains of the same on her Anorak vest like this. I like the look but miss the warmth and comfort. If you fixed the zipper issue, filled it with more down and added another inch or two up top, this would be the most awesome 5 star vest. As it is, it’s a nice-looking lightweight vest that I have to keep my shoulders back in to be 100% comfy!
Long bronze vest
Love wearing this, I am 5 ft tall and bought the extra small, it is perfect! I was worried it would overwhelm me as most down coats do—but it is warm without the bulk
